Elba with a mountain bike
Elba is now established as a destination for mountain bike enthusiasts both for muscle or with pedal assistente. After the Park Area of Capoliveri which hosted the Cross Country World Cup and the Italian Championships twice, other areas for cycling have sprung in the mines of Rio and on the mountain above Marina di Campo.
The areas are marked with various signs and constantly mantained by the various Sport Associations
In addition, various paths marked by the CAI are available to the public along other areas of the Island, old farmers and hunters roads, that connect the various ridges of the Island or cross the Elban beaches, granting a spectacular view of the coast that surrounds Elba.
There are various mountain-bike rentals that con be found in various locations, even those who will provide minibuses for transporting bikes and people.
